Earl Grey Superior
A timeless English classic elevated with a touch of Mediterranean sunshine. The full-bodied black tea beloved by British earls, enhanced with fresh citrus zest and natural bergamot essence. Mornings have never been this elegant.
Our Earl Grey Superior is a refined take on the world's most famous flavoured tea. Where traditional Earl Grey relies on bergamot alone, we've added real lemon zest and natural orange aroma — creating a brighter, livelier, more contemporary version.
Tasting Profile
When brewed, the liquor reveals a deep amber-red color, bright and inviting. On the nose, you'll first notice the woody, malty character of black tea, quickly followed by vibrant, zesty citrus notes. On the palate, the opening is smooth and warming — the black tea provides structure and body, while lemon and orange dance across the tongue with refreshing brightness. The finish is long, citrusy, slightly astringent, in the manner of a fine English tea.
When to Enjoy It
Earl Grey is the quintessential morning tea: its caffeine lifts you gently, while its citrus character awakens the senses. It's also perfect at traditional English tea time (around 4pm), with a splash of milk for a "British style" experience, or plain to savour the full citrus complexity. It's also a tea for reading and reflection — ideal for grey winter mornings.
Food Pairings
Sublime with warm scones and bitter orange marmalade, buttery shortbread, or lemon cake. Also perfect with a slice of sourdough bread, salted butter and marmalade. For more elegant tea times: cucumber sandwiches.

Black tea, lemon zest, natural bergamot flavouring, natural orange flavouring.

Did you know? The name "Earl Grey" comes from Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey and British Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834. According to legend, the recipe was gifted to him by a Chinese mandarin as thanks for a diplomatic favour. The recipe used bergamot oil to mask the chalky taste of the hard water at his Northumberland estate.
Très bon Earl Grey. Je recommande pour le matin.
Très bon thé noir pour le petit déjeuner.
Bon.
Un goût qui est égal à la description
J'apprécie d'avoir un emballage plus grand avec un prix un peu moins cher !
