What's in the set

• Japanese Matcha (ref. V0895)
  The reference Matcha — a shade-grown green tea ground on stone mills, with distinct vegetal notes and a clear umami signature. Whisk with a chasen for the traditional ritual.
• Passion Fruit Matcha (ref. V0907)
  A Teatower creation: the vegetal character of Matcha enhanced by the exotic freshness of passion fruit. Particularly successful as an iced latte or alcohol-free cocktail.
• Biscuit Matcha 50g (ref. V0910)
  Matcha in an indulgent version: buttery and biscuit notes reminiscent of warm shortbread, perfect in an afternoon latte or blended into a cookie recipe.

Traditional chasen preparation

1. Sift 2 g (≈ 1 bamboo spoon) of Matcha into a wide bowl.
2. Pour 70 ml of water at 70-80 °C.
3. Whisk with a chasen in an M or W motion for 15-20 seconds until a smooth foam forms.
4. Enjoy immediately, without sugar — or with a splash of plant-based milk for the latte version.

Storage

Matcha is a living tea: keep it away from light, moisture and heat. Once opened, reseal tightly and consume preferably within 4 weeks to preserve the chlorophyll intensity and umami notes.

The pure Matcha comes from a direct partnership with a Japanese producer committed to traditional shade-growing and slow grinding on stone mills. The flavoured versions are blended in our Belgian workshop using this same base, with carefully selected natural aromas.
