Family Workshop – Rooibos Discovery for children in Waterloo

A family tea workshop to discover rooibos with your child. This South African caffeine-free infusion, naturally sweet and without sugar, is perfect for introducing the youngest to the world of herbal teas. Ideal from age 5.

Every Sunday morning, the Teatower Waterloo store opens its doors to families for an hour of sensory discovery, away from screens.

What you will experience

• 🌍 Sensory journey – Where does rooibos come from? A fascinating story for the little ones (and the big ones). Your child discovers South Africa, the rooibos fields and artisanal harvesting.
• 👃 Guided tasting together – Taste 3 rooibos with very different profiles together: plain, red berries and vanilla. Learn to recognize aromas and express what you feel.
• 🎨 Create your own custom blend – Each child creates their own infusion blend with dried fruits, gentle spices and flowers. A unique keepsake to take home.

Why rooibos for children?

Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free, rich in antioxidants and without bitterness. Unlike tea, it is perfectly suitable for children. Its natural sweetness allows you to drink it without added sugar, hot or cold. It's the ideal drink for a healthy snack or an evening ritual with family.
