When brewed, the liquor takes on a bright yellow-green and clear hue. On the nose, lemongrass asserts itself first with its tangy freshness, followed by the vegetal notes of green tea and the earthy base of mate. In the mouth, the attack is lively and citrusy, the green tea brings vegetal roundness, and the mate provides structure and depth. The finish is clean, fresh, slightly herbaceous.

Did you know? Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) has nothing to do with lemon — it's a tropical grass. Its lemony aroma comes from citral, the same molecule found in lemon zest. Nature invented the same fragrance twice, in two completely different plants.
